According to the oh-so-reliable Wikipedia, Condon recorded his first album at 15. Good luck finding a copy of The Joys of Losing Weight.
If you haven't heard it already, Beirut just released a double EP entitled March of the Zapotec. The album was recorded in Mexico with the help of the The Jimenez Band. Now you too can see how Eastern and Southern sounds mix. — BJ
